Steam crashed and won't let me go online anymore, so I can't salvage my mods and continue playing. But here are some goons I managed to add before that happened.   I don't know when we'll see these fine gents in my game, but hopefully soon!

 New mission.  Sending humanity's best.  Lizard Wizard manages to not miss a 95% shot.  Good damage.  Dr Cheeto checking for a pulse... But it's too late for that Sectoid.  Hanzo steel cuts through ADVENT flesh like scissors through cloth.  Easy victory.  More goons join the Goon Squad.  Our new arrivals (and Lizard Wizard) are ready for the next mission.

battlefield 1 will still have players next year so i'd play titanfall. hopefully it can get some prolonged slow growth like rainbow 6 seige did last year based on its solid gameplay but who knows. my copy is still 2 days away though  in the mailon the other hand battlefield will soon make you pay to keep playing with everyone in dlc and titanfall won't so maybe you want to get your fill of the base game before that happens? idk. enjoy your gamer problem

Yeah I'm enjoying TF2 slightly more just because it's a bit less... strategic, i guess Like it's more twitch aim and quick movement than being in the right place at the right time, sort of thing, I suppose That doesn't make a lot of sense even as I say it but I'm categorically better at TF2 than BF1 and I guess I wanna work out why

As I set down Last Door s2 as I'm not in the mood for its atmosphere tonight, I have a look at the Blackwell series again...and I'm reminded of why I try not to care about achievements unless they're actually doable. Because the second game in the series wants you to have the main character smoke a hundred times. That's a non-required action you do for general hint text, it's boring to click through, and on top of that I'm personally bothered by smoking. I know it's fictional and the character doesn't get lung cancer, but it's still disturbing for me to have to sit there clicking and making them smoke, so...no achievement for me. And that really put me off of doing the third game, and more in the series, as the achievements were suddenly onerous and unfun, and...that helped me get over wanting to get them for most games I own. Now I just don't care unless it's really fun, and it's way better than doing something dumb in an adventure game. So - years later I return, the final game purchased and waiting to be installed, and I'm ready to return to the Blackwell series and enjoy it - without achievement hunting.
