 So I got a box in the mail today!  Well, two boxes, but more on that later...  First up is this adorable nendo!  I've always wanted a miku, and I've always wanted a Lucky Star. Now I have both! Seen here hailing me from below with her leek.  Next up is time for some Shaft.  Not sure what it says about me that this will probably be the classiest thing in my room...  Why hello there new mouse pad/excuse to finally get around to finishing New Game. Nice to see you/curse you for forcing me to spend time watching a good show!  And here we have some  Ah, Gurren Lagann tape, for the manliest of manly projects! I'm sure I'll find a use for you somewhere...   And a card from a great person reminding me that my Christmas has gotten at least 300% more moe!  Thanks for everything! it's wonderful and will brighten my day up a lot! I got this like a week ago and then immediately did stuff and forgot about posting it, whoops!!!! For some reason they're not allowed to be with the rest of the sodas at your local grocery store but they might be in the Latin foods section. Tamarind and Pineapple are the best flavors.

A surprise package arrived this morning:  Whisky, gin, chocolate and tea, four of my favourite things in the world - thanks, Chas McGill! We're still four days before Christmas so it got here with loads of time to spare. I'd have posted this with a picture of me holding a glass of the Tomatin, but it's 10:30am on a week day, which is a bit too early to start drinking even by my standards. I'm definitely checking both it and the frankincense and myrrh gin out tonight, though.

Wayy. Let me know how it all is - I've never had the Tomatin but the gin is pretty interesting. I'm still on the lookout for a non food related gift for you! I went local rather than foreign since I expect you have better access to foreign snacks than I do. At least the tea is Japanese? With apologies to a kitten for waiting so long to post about their wonderful gift. Also for the photo quality. I love Nausicaa and I'm always looking for good reproductions of watercolors for reference for my own work so this is pretty much perfect. It's got the full page illustrations that are in the books plus tons of preliminary/reference sketches with comments and interviews.   Here it is on the shelf next to my Nausicaa boxset.  I'll check for the second package today (can't believe I'm getting something else on top of this) and post if it arrives. Thank you so much a kitten
