Futurism was an art movement where dudes were all 'CARS ARE COOL AND THE PAST IS FOR CHUMPS. LET'S DRAW SOME CARS.'
Inktober and lumberjacks burned me out, but I'm back to getting on that doodle train

That is a fantastic three-panel bear. I love the shapes you used for his limbs in the second panel.

i like the background texture but I think your brushstrokes on the body look a little stabby, maybe use bigger strokes with more paint and try to make marks that follow the form of her body more. also try separating out larger sections of her hair, like try to make kind of a fore/background with the different pieces. i'm garbage at traditional painting though so don't listen t o me

here's a horned demony guy for contrast

I don't paint but since you asked for critique, my issues with this have nothing to do with acrylic paint as the medium but more with the drawing itself, everything seems flat and non-physical. The jewelry doesn't seem totally separate from the body, like you didn't quite catch the sense of separate objects resting on top of one another. And the shading in the hair and body follows a certain logic but doesn't add up to create a sense of volume (maybe that is due to inexperience with acrylics as you say, I don't know). The body construction is also a bit off, the angle of the breasts, the relative size of the arm to the rest of the body.

Vague washy backgrounds are a pet peeve of mine, i dunno what to do instead but it just bugs me. Not sure if that helps. Merry christmas to everyone!

Aaaargh you got the low-fi 3d colours going there, my eyes recoiled at the memory of the pain, like they instantly tried to adjust to the pic and failed. :prepop:
You've been super productive lately and should be proud btw.

There's no January daily drawing thread?

I'm trying to do a daily drawing/painting/sketch/something every day. Not sure how long I'll last, and I'm already behind. But I should be able to catch up during the weekend.

It's pretty much a horrible medium to work with in general, at least by itself, I feel like it usually makes the artist look like they were struggling with it unless a) they're mega-pro, or b) it's used as a secondary accents, with something like prismacolour markers, watercolour or gouache.
