No wait, his best was that time he played Memphis Tennessee with chuck Barry and yoko on tambourine. There's a moment where you can see Barry imagining murdering yoko in his head. It's amazing.

working class hero if we are talkinga bout solo stuff, and in fact is probably the only song that still holds up today the rest of his solo output sounds like today's angsty teenager stuff

His White album tracks are haunting and melancholy...however, anything with yoko's loving voice needs to be scrapped. I hate listening to Double Fantasy on vinyl and having to get up after his songs are over. Also, gently caress him for the way he treated his first son. I have daddy issues.

Working Class Hero is the best, but that whole Plastic Ono Band album is the only really great album that Lennon made. Cold Turkey gets honorable mention though, because it's so scathingly raw. And withdrawals really really suck.
