Not using HTTPS was in the original answer to that post, but for a little bit more paranoid users (like me) I wanted to provide an option for mixed secure content. Not using HTTPS can make phishing attacks and stealing your account easy and I don't want to deal with it even though it is a comedy forum. Sorry for the derail.
