It honestly seems just as CPU heady as Origins, but nobody seems to care?

Edit: Maybe more people finally upgraded their 2700Ks?

One more Odyssey batch. Sorry if it's getting a bit much AC in here, I just didn't get that much into a photo mode before.

The virtual tourism is only getting stronger in the series, showing off your travel photos seems like a natural extension of the gameplay at this point :)

It's a weirdly compelling and differently engaging type of play too, I might have found a new minor hobby inside another hobby.

What's the current go-to solution to make animated gifs? Specifically make gifs from small portions of large video files. I'm still using an old version of gooncam/gifcam...

Still not done with the Odyssey, so have some more.

Edit: Also found a few gifs I made for Origins.

It's Rockstar, they always wait 8-12 months with the PC release because they'll make bank with people double dipping. Of course it's gonna come to PC, especially these days where the architecture of the consoles is so close it's a no-brainer.

I'm finally free from AC Odyssey. So one final batch:

This dog's smile of satisfaction but also slighty shellshocked eyes appropriately represent my own feelings when I finished the game and saw the game clock showing ninety-four hours.

I wouldn't call its gameplay great but I think nu-AC is totally fine, especially considering that you can switch between combat and stealth and it's competent enough in both. There are lots of games out there doing either of those better of course. But yeah, if you're looking primarily for depth and satisfaction in gameplay AC isn't where it's at, if you're looking for fun open world adventure time it is (at least to me) more than the sum of its parts imo.

Somehow I always seem to end up buying any Ubisoft open world game.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is a suprisingly fun stealth sandbox, for the current sales price it's a steal imo. You just have to accept that your AI buddies are only good for the sync shot and to revive you, and the command menu is better left alone because it just makes things worse. If you had the GRAW command options and AI here this would be a really fantastic game.

Anyway, it has very pretty landscapes but sadly little of the Assassin's Creed eye for the smaller detail and everyday NPC routines.

Also, top notch voiceacting:

Eastshade is a very chill open-world adventure/exploration game from a small indie studio where one of the main mechanics is that you make paintings for people, which are essentially screenshots with a slight "oil painting" filter applied.

Got weak and bought Valhalla because it's 40 bucks already with discounts. I just wanted to play photo tourist again and these games to that better than most.

Then it crashed and I thought maybe I'll wait for another patch and installed Origins again.
