Someone will probably tell you that tear gas can be neutralized with a cloth soaked in vinegar, or milk or whatever the rumor mill says totally works these days. Best advice I ever got, buy a jar of Maalox (a cheap, over the counter anti-heartburn tonic) mix it with an equal amount of water and then pour it on your face whenever needed
