Tim Whatley posted:Are there rotisseries lately at Costco? Not that it's the same thing, just curious. I'm not stepping foot into Costco until all this poo poo is done but my local grocery store has a shitload of rotisserie chickens. Went Friday ("yesterday") in Van Nuys which is north LA , got there 30 mins before opening, line moved enough that I got in around opening. Got TP and they probably ran out not long after I did. PT followed suit shortly afterward. Plenty of water seems like. Lot of people grabbing them chickens but after the initial zerg rush it seemed to even out astral posted:I went today (southern California): no paper products in sight but they had ridiculous amounts of bottled water. Frozen food area was half wasteland and half full stock. get there before opening. You don't have to camp out (please dont loving do that) just get there at a reasonably early time.

also from what I'm hearing hand sanitizer is the hardest poo poo to come by since they don't get re-upped everyday

does costco china have the hotdog and pizza combo? I know south korea didn't even localize the food iirc hence why they call ketchup/onions/mustard costco kimchi

Grand Fromage posted:China doesn't have Costco as far as I'm aware. There was one in Hong Kong and a reseller to buy Costco stuff on Taobao when I lived there. We did have something called Metro, which is basically German Costco. You're right Costco food in Korea is the same as the US, the only concession to local tastes is the pump bottle of corn syrup to put on your pizza/hot dogs. I only watched it once but the fighting over chickens was seared into my brain

this is a broader question, do any of the shops (target/walmart/etc) get n95 masks in on the reg the same way TP does? I don't even want them to wear, wonder if local fire fighters and medical people could use them I haven't even bothered looking for them
