Unfortunately now the game only says "request failed" whenever I try to apply the burning status - no matter how many times I try to delete and remake that character. From what I gather I could create a burning character on a different server, but again if you delete it your SoL for making burners on that server (...maybe until the next burning promotion?). So pro tip: until this bug is fixed, only put the burning status on characters who's name/class you like.
