I'm trying to garner how far along this technology is exactly. Its hard to know if the hype coming from Technological singularity futurist tech fanboys actually has much merit to it. Still though, technology seems to be moving so fast these days. I don't care about robots overthrowing humanity and plugging us all into the matrix, I'm more curious about when we reach the point that an artificial intelligence could create meaningful artwork or have a discussion on Ethical Philosophy and it be just as if not more sophisticated than anything we humans can do.
