Real Alan is in control of the dark place, fictional Alan is just a passenger at this point. As for who created imaginary Barry, uh... I'm not sure! edit: The real Alan, the one we saw at the end of the DLC, is the one who was trapped by the darkness at the very start of the game. He created a fictional Alan to go through the game's events as the protagonist of the story he was using to save Alice. The end of the main game left Alan still trapped, needing to write a second story in order to free himself, but it was too late for him at that point and now he's crazy. To solve this, fictional Alan- the character he created -is trying to reach him with Zane's help to hopefully join back up with his real body and fix his busted brain.  Do you want to see me stream the Souls games in one 12 hour shot? Well, good news, I'm doing a stream on saturday that is coincidentally going to be that long, for a reason that I can't show you! I'm going back to school next week and I've got a full register of classes for the fall semester, so unfortunately I'm gonna have a lot less time to work on LP stuff. So I figure before I go back down the hole of stress and homework and depression, I'll use my last bit of freedom to have some fun. Hopefully I'll see you there, I will be posting about it here and in the stream thread periodically throughout the day!

Oh yeah, it'll definitely be up once the stream is over. Might take a couple days to process the stream, more if it ends up getting split into parts by YouTube. But yes, like my previous 12h streams, it will be archived for future generations to laugh at me swearing more and getting a scratchier throat as the day proceeds into the night! Sorry you guys are having a hard time, believe me I know how you feel. Definitely will have you along in spirit though!

I think they do more than enough to make it feel different than just wandering through places you've seen before, especially in The Writer, but at its core the scenery is comprised mostly of retreading old ground.

The 10,000 dollars wasn't just for the CT scan but yes, it really was that expensive. They charged me for: - The CT scan - The ultrasound therapy to break up the kidney stones - The room (???) They didn't charge me for any of the medicine, the doctor fees, or the specialist care. And I filed a counter-claim saying basically "that's bullshit, I have insurance so that I don't have to pay for those things" but it was denied as "not medically necessary". Upon doing a little research, I found out that my coverage actually doesn't include kidney stones, which is insane given how many people get them. Their official excuse is that I didn't need the treatment (and they're wrong), but the real reason is because it's just not something they cover. But they didn't inform me of that, I had to look it up myself, so they clearly know it's a terrible thing to do to someone. Definitely switching to a different insurance company when it comes time. Yeah, that's the catch. If they had deemed it medically necessary (it was I couldn't have passed the stones without the ultrasound therapy to break them up wtf) then they would have had to cover it regardless of whether it's on the plan or not. But because it meant they wouldn't have to cover it, they said it wasn't!  edit: And I don't mean for this to become the Cjacobs Complains About His Medical Issues thread again, but it's a pretty important part of my life right now and it's hindering my ability to make videos for you! On the bright side, there's only one more video left for our dear friend Alan for now and it's gonna be coming this weekend so look forward to it! Tomorrow is my birthday, so I'm going to be streaming The Evil Within in the afternoon and evening!
