Huh, can't find info one way or the other on Kodansha's site, it does say that it's the same translation by Studio Proteus though. Not that much is actually gained by having one page of explicit sex in a cerebral action scifi story. I'm more looking forward to the hardcover version anyway.

Even if the plot gets rehashed the original OVA has amazing animation and effortless storytelling and i can't recommend it highly enough. The somewhat longer sequel still looks great, but the writing isn't nearly as tight. I'm really looking forward to the series too!
