Seltzer posted:I haven't been paying attention to much transfer news but I've seen like 10 Costa Ricans linked to various clubs. There's also the crazy rumor that some firm wants to buy the Cosmos rights + the Redbulls franchise and rebrand. A league featuring the Cosmos and a steady stream of expansion teams. What could go wrong?

Atlanta have signed Greg Garza on loan with a permanent option from Tijuana, and had to send a draft pick to Columbus due to discovery rights. And Chicago have apparently signed Juninho (the one that used to play for the Galaxy) from Tijuana. It's apparently also a loan with an option, and they have to trade allocation spots and draft picks with Minnesota to do so. trem_two fucked around with this message at 23:47 on Dec 23, 2016 |

It's not official yet, but according to the Italian media Atlanta have acquired Josef Martinez from Torino for a $5m transfer fee. That'll be their last DP. He was really pretty decent for Torino last year from what I remember, but he's been squeezed out of the lineup after they brought in some better attacking players last summer.

Maxi Moralez is signing with NYCFC according to ESPN. He'll probably be quite good in MLS, and is actually shorter than Giovinco.
