It was the easiest system wipe I've ever done. And I did it only because I hate windows 10 and not at all because my searches for midget clown porn infected my computer with umptine bajillion viruses.

windows 10 judges you on your masturbation technique and sends the rating back to microsoft and they sell it to the credit bureaus who use it to calculate your credit score at least that's what Watch Dogs 2 told me

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

Windows 10 still has weird wifi issues at the office where the known network has to be forgotten, then the device has to be reset before you can reconnect to the network again. Individual steps like disconnecting and reconnecting to the wifi network, resetting the wifi adapter, or just rebooting don't fix it; it has to be those steps or it will still have a false connection. Wifi can be a huge clusterfuck sometimes but this never happens to Win7 devices. Otherwise I'm satisfied with its Orwellian app-friendly tablet OS.

I don't remember the exact number.

Why would you upgrade Windows? Windows is poo poo. Upgrading Windows is just turning poo poo into a different kind of poo poo.

I use Windows 10 but installed this thing from MajorGeeks called "shutup10" which will turn off most (if not all) of the invasive spy bullshit. That + the Classic Shell program to emulate the Windows 7 look = I can use Windows 10 without wanting to kill myself

Actually Windows 10 is cool and good. I use classic shell though, and manually turn off the spy stuff. I'm gonna download this shutup 10 thing now and see how it is.

There is a weird cult about Windows 10. If you mention you don't like it/don't want to install it, people come from out of nowhere to tell you how good it is and how you should upgrade to it and it's really strange.

Forced updates are a good idea in theory, but a lot of people are going to be pissed when they are forced to upgrade to Windows 11 which will be the worst thing since Windows ME.

Welp, it may turn out that Adobe CC won't play nice with 7. And that's, like, my job, man. So I've got Shutup 10 on standby. Hopefully SP1&2 will fix the adobe issue.
