Jeff Fisher was trash and deserves to get hosed on his contract after he hosed the city of St. Louis in their relations with the franchise.

Gotta make sure to get that high first round pick to get a real stud playmaker.

Fisher was a stooge for management in order to get the team moved to LA.

He carried their water in telling them how to most effectively move the team, one of the reasons they kept him around:
http://www.latimes.com/sports/rams/la-sp-moving-rams-fisher-20160801-snap-story.html

And also, he served their interest by losing:
http://www.101sports.com/2015/11/15/rams-accountability-begins-and-ends-with-kroenke/
(Miklasz is a very long-time STL sports media guy)

You never really heard Fisher arguing the case for staying in STL. He's a California boy who knows what side his bread was buttered on. Now that he's served his purpose he finally gets fired. Team is moved, team still sucks, they need a new coach to sell seats in the under-construction stadium. Fisher is getting more than he deserves.

I bet he even asked for the mercy firing before he took the all-time losing record. He's a bum.

I mean the guy thought Danny Woodhead was still a "playmaker" for the Patriots. Then his team goes out and gives up a combined 133 yards to Pats RBs not named Woodhead, including a 43-yard "trot" by Blount.

He can't be employed for winning-football-game reasons.

I hope the Bears fire John Fox so the Rams can make the closest thing to a lateral move next year.

Yeah, it's really impressive when you look at it.

The Rams have the worst offense in football, but have spent insane draft capitol on offensive players:

'16: 1-1 QB Jared Goff
'15: 1-10 RB Todd Gurley
2-57 T Rob Hvenstein
'14: 1-2 T Greg Robinson
'13: 1-8 WR Tavon Austin
'12: 2-33 WR Brian Quick
2-50 RB Isaih Pead

And that's with inheriting a team with 1st/2nd round picks at TE, QB, and 2 tackles over the previous three years.

They threw an insane amount at that offense and all of it was poo poo.

You wore that on Halloween?
Gurley could be having a better season, but the offensive line is an absolute dumpster fire. They need to cut ties with Greg Robinson and Roger Saffold this offseason and rebuild from the ground up.

Yeah, and at the same time, they drafted guys like Aaron Donald and Janoris Jenkins and other useful defensive players so they can apparently scout talent just fine.

They just have a putrid staff of offensive coaches that ruined/were ruining a ton of top prospects.

I was gonna make a joke about how the Niners should give him a call but then I realized that it isn't our coaching staff that's the problem right now. Chip Kelly might be a bad NFL coach but he's not 1-15 bad.
