What's going on with Rodgers' calf? I'm just going to assume it's a nagging Achilles problem since this is like the 3rd year in a row he's had it and he goes into a tent for treatment to hide it.

You're misinformed. He strained it in 2014 and it was healed until last week when he strained it again.

No, he's pulled up lame on the same leg several times since then. It's definitely a nagging issue.

Let's talk about this David DeCastro destruction of Vontaze Burfict that happened 2 plays after Burfict attempted to submarine DeCastro's knees on a counter.

He was so concussed that he couldn't even walk off of the field unassisted, yet he was back in the game after halftime.

I still can't believe he was cleared to go back into the game. He was virtually knocked out. I normally defend Marvin Lewis, but there's no way he should have been allowed to play after taking that hit

I was idly thinking about how 'everyone' assumes the Bears are going to move on from Alshon Jeffrey because he hasn't proved himself/is too expensive/misses games/whatever

he's the best wr they've ever drafted by a million miles and they're going to just let him walk for nothing.

Doesn't Marvin Lewis have a pretty questionable track record on head injuries? I'm probably ignoring all the times he's been good about it, but he had this to say in 2014:

quote:

"Well, he had a concussion against Atlanta," Lewis began, via the Cincinnati Enquirer. "That's that biggest concern that way. You don't want him to have, you know, but again I coached defenses and linebackers for a long time and concussions didn't linger. Now we have found that because of the media and things they seem to linger longer. There's a lot of attention paid to it. I don't know why they linger longer. I don't remember them lingering like they do now."

Is DeCastro available to travel back in time and destroy Broncos cut blockers?

Oh, I'm glad he got trucked, but that doesn't mean that I' can't also be astonished that the coaches put back on the field despite being very obviously concussed

Cinci and Pittsburgh are similar in that they probably got all their players blind drunk before taking the concussion baseline test
