So, on my 82nd death today, I made it to the Dragun for the first time (and died). I also discovered you can, in fact, transmorgify the gun reaper.

One hundred deaths in, I finally make it to the Dragun for the third time, with three hits left before I die. I manage to kill him one hit away from death, and my 101st run is my first win. I owe it all to two doses of PopPop and the Back-up Gun.
