The first half of the film was a bit of a pacing mess, and it could have done without a main character or two to better flesh out the remaining so the audience actually cares about them (Jyn felt really underdeveloped to me). Some really tight action scenes and good visuals were not enough for me to overlook some of the pacing issues and (IMO) shoddy storytelling. 3/5
