Who is the lovely evil team that I should at no point ever support or hope for good things to happen? Who is the Red Bull of the Indy 500?

Ganassi. I would say Penske but Penske's drivers are clearly more likable than Ganassi's drivers.

I was at the track when Krosnoff died. It was even weirder because my dad worked for Kawneer at the time and they sponsored Johansson, who was involved. Poor course design too.

Also Stefan"The Swedish Murderer" Johannson threw a brutal block on Krosnoff. Hang him high imo.

Yeah it was pointless. 3 laps to go and he wasn't in contention.

Way back in the day I was on a motorsport forum with someone who claimed to be Stefan Johannson (he wasn't). I got banned for repeatedly accusing him of murdering Jeff Krosnoff.

Alonso's run today is reminding me of 2000 (?) when Montoya showed up to make all the IRL drivers look really bad.

It really isn't, I'm not like, trying to pick a fight but Montoya in 2000 might as well have been in a completely different car to everyone else, he was that fast.

It's definitely like Mansell's first run in '93 though.

when you compare the lineage Mario is probably just fine, though I'd rate AJ as having been the better career

It's not like Marco ever seemed like a raw talent that needed refinement. He's just slow. You can teach a quick guy to crash less, but it's much harder to teach speed.
