Looks like on Twitter quite a few CHIKARA guys have been complaining about lack of booking from them. Batiri and Max Smashmaster have both been vocal about it, and Blaster McMassive is still making comments about how CHIKARA treats its black wrestlers. I just feel very ehhhhhh about the company right now after all that. :\

CHIKARA was great because even though you had these training school graduates and goofy comic book gimmicks in 2012, you still had Claudio, SDR, Quack, Eddie Kingston, Ares etc there to give legitimacy. Now, the only regulars that I watch and think "This person is really really good" is Hallowicked. It's all dumb goofy crustacean, cop, and Tour de France gimmicks now with a 80% trainee roster.

Also, the guy doing the Jervis gimmick really seems to be just a really good dude all told. Either that or he just is really, really into keeping kayfabe.
