Constantine is being revived in animated webisode form. Matt Ryan is going to be doing the voice.

Maybe this means he might be transferred to the Legends team at some point? It happened to a version of Vixen, albeit recast.

I just want a show to round out the "DC superhero power hour every day" for Friday. Constantine would have fit the bill perfectly.

Had it ended the way it did Season 1, I would have been so pissed. Suck it cancellation bear, CW kept this poo poo going.

If you're talking about him never sticking to one girl, it's standard procedure with him. He's been with all of 'em, every female character, except Moose's girlfriend, but I think she's not going to exist, given how they're shaping up that storyline. Also, Grundy... jeez. Long way from someone who looks like Olive Oyl's grandmother.

Ever have a supporting actor on a tv show leave because they think they can do better on another show as lead? Do either shows, the show they were on previously or the one they get into next ever succeed?

Closest I can think of is Tom Ellis leaving Once Upon a Time even though his character was going to get full-time supporting to do Lucifer.

Netflix got new CW titles fairly quickly this time around. I caught up with No Tomorrow and holy poo poo, that finale! It's perfect: you know they went there with the show's underlying premise, as unlikely as that could be, but left things so every character got an ending that could be more, but stands well alone. If it doesn't get a renewal (which is almost virtually impossible on the CW), it still was a great season and a good ending.

Legion was good but I can't imagine it will last. It seems to be way too weird to find an audience. Being on FX may be the only thing that saves it.

FX keeps stuff that has terrible ratings because they have faith in a lot of what they invest in, even if Nielsen viewers could give less of a poo poo. Besides, this feels like it was an ending mapped out and needs a certain minimum amount of episodes to complete it.

Incorrect. Comic book shows can be very good. DC has been a poo poo show, but Supergirl is legitimately good and its Vertigo title, iZombie is amazing (barring the unfortunate name). As for Marvel, Agent Carter went too soon and was great. Plus, if you get past the first half of the season, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. gets good QUICK.

...not to mention Jessica Jones got top accolades in the TVIV the year it was out, but people tend to get salty about that in hindsight.

I disagree. I find myself watching and missing out on things the first viewing. So I watch it again sometime later. There's references and little bits going on in the background that have you saying, "Ooooh, so THAT'S what happened." You wouldn't get that by straight bingeing. I think it's because they keep dicking them around about a renewal. Every year at least one of the actors (Fillion does this the most, but so has Glau) or Whedon himself hint it might happen. It's bullshit. Say it's over and pull what everyone seems to be doing and relaunching Hawaii 5.0, Beverly Hills 90210, and upcoming Charmed and Cruel Intentions.

Apparently some tv executives hinted at a Buffy renewal ages ago and got a ton of fan backlash, leading to it being quashed.
