Very few Dominion veterans will be confused, because "Cursed" isn't a naming convention for cards that Curse. Very few Dominion newcomers will be playing with Nocturne in the first place, since it is an expansion. Pretty much everybody's going to have to do what they always do: read the cards, because Dominion card names give little or no information per se across all expansions.

I'm confused, because the card names frequently tell you quite a lot about the card. You haven't noticed the stuff like "cards named Village generally give you two actions"?

I guess if you're in a Prosperity game with multiple expensive-yet-very-strong piles.

Toil seems set up for games with lots of big terminals that you don't really want to gently caress around with setting up villages for. Extra coins are your villages.

Ten points for ten coins. Seems decent, especially if you've already just shuffled.

Another Poor House combo too. You no longer have any treasures in your hand by the time you're buying events...

So every action is a one-shot Lab. Yet another Poor House combo!

It's a free VP when you draw your necropolis but not any actions that you actually want to do.

You can get a set of just the base cards (intended for if you just want to play expansions without getting the base set), which might be an option.

Or just deal with the supply being a little short on Estates and Coppers, it's not like people are going to be buying them out in most games.
