Ok, I may be late to this but, I just opened the Temple Gates app on an ipad and... it has the log visible all the time. Why on god's green earth is that only on the IOS version? Ok, sure, on a phone the sacrifice may be worth it but, on my PC monitor? It should be there. Now, maybe I'm an idiot and there's a setting I'm missing (though there doesn't seem to be many settings at all). Hopefully it's coming to all the versions. That said, I bit the bullet and grabbed the launch set and I really don't regret it (though, yes, it was a lot of money). The computer oponent is really quite good. I'm hoping to improve, myself.
