I know this is both cliched and lowest common denominator as gently caress, but this series just seems to enjoy words way too much. I mean, they spend way more "dialogue budget" to communicate relatively simple concepts than seems necessary, and it just makes everything so drat hard to follow without, like, a cheat sheet on hand or something.
