gently caress y'all, not dead and still posting, but spent an inebriated day a few weeks back Facebooking a colleague I hadn't seen since he was guarding an intersection in downtown Baghdad in 2003. Goddamn, but the sight of dozens of DPICM artillery rounds arcing through the air to pound the capital... Anywho, quick opinion question: if I end up in a part of the country where there are cool confrontational protests, what kind of attire/accessories can I wear to indicate "I support the leftist/socialist cause but also was in the Marines in two wars so gently caress you fat baby boomer chickenhawks and up with national minimum income and free healthcare"? I'm just concerned that I'd come to some protest and get beaten by the Black Bloc for having a USMC hat, or not being able to use ARE TROOPS cred to shame civvie mouth-breathing Proud Boy kids.
