the more I think about it, the more I think that the problem may lay in biometrics being both infinitely variable(they change in a given person constantly, even if only slightly) and not nearly as unique as we think.

i know some places do do that because i once got a mail from someone that flagged as 'sender identity verified' but I'm guessing that their firm paid some amount of money to do that

and anyway if it was more widespread then someone would just steal/spoof the certs or symantec would gently caress it all up
