how long did it take you?

35 hrs. But I piddled around a lot and the game timer continues to run when Alt tabbed, so it's at least a couple hours faster than that.

Beat all the HITMAN story missions, there's an incredible amount to do in this game though.

Parallax. Interesting puzzle game, the last few levels made my brain feel itchy though. Not that it was particularly difficult, but it used a lot of light world/dark world mechanics to good effect.

I beat 1993 Space Machine because I'm at the point where i'm literally just going down my steam list trying games. It was an ok shmup, but i've only ever really played R type and a little Raiden so i don't really have a feel for shmups. It was very similar to R type

How was it?

Its really good with a few caveats. The collectathon part of the game is really weak, most of the collectibles don't do anything and are just kinda sitting around and glow obnoxiously from a mile out, the open world sections are really well detailed and put together, but they verge onto sprawling and disorienting at times. The game shines when it puts you into a linear gauntlet or gives you a clear goal. Even the boss fights and stealth sections are well done for a 3d platformer game and the character controls really smoothly and has good jumpfeel.

At any rate its a good holdover until Odyssey at the end of the month

Half Life 2: Episode 1

Yea this hasn't held up too well.

Plebian Parasite

Citadel intro is definitely the strongest part.

I think its mostly just that recent good FPSes have been about giving you really neat toys and crazy movement like in Titanfall 2 and DOOM, going back to playing as fragile slow Freeman who has to conserve ammo and run to the nearest cover is jarring.

The game really is front loaded with difficult puzzles, in the later levels you fully understand what the game expects of you and its just a matter of manuevering most of the time. I blazed through the final two worlds in one sitting.

I pepper in a bunch of cheap bundle games in between beating huge good ones. There are maybe 12 or so big games on my list and the rest you could beat in an afternoon.

I have summers off too, which is nice.

Plebian Parasite

The lists are actually smaller this year than they were last year, with IT breaking 80 in 2016 and Evil Eagle beating 60 or so not counting his 20+ runs of Sonic CD.
