Since that first injury, the Seahawks have gone 3-3... with wins over the Rams, Panthers and a squeaker against the 49ers. Their pass defense has been downright awful since he was injured but it's a question about how much that will matter since.... Matthew Stafford broke his diddling finger a month ago, and since then the Lions' passing game has struggled heavily as they've lost three games crawling into the playoffs. They'll need that though, as Seattle's run defense is still stout and the Lions' defense is very, very bad. Did Stafford's middle finger really have any effect? I mean yeah they lost the last 3 games after the finger but they were playing the Giants, Cowboys, and then Packers all of which made the playoffs and are (IMO) waaay better teams. I will say Stafford's completeion went from 67% to 60% it just doesn't seem like it was all his finger. I think the Lions kinda have a chance against Seattle.

It had some, but he also lost his starting center and his second-string running back, so those calamities combined killed the offense.
