I hear Tabletop Simulator can do Necro. Might be a way to continue the campaign?

There is a lot of 40k terrain though not sure how necromunda friendly a lot of itd be, verticallity isnt tts' strong point. Also no figures ive been able to find sadly :smith:

There are rules to build a gang with more than the regular starting credits, including experience to build a "seasoned" gang, even without that though there is a lot more customisation in necromunda and its more of a fun game than a super serious tournament ready game like killteam

In case anyone around here is an old Epic hand, what would the Squat Iron Eagle Gyrocopter best translate to in terms of 40k? I'm thinking maybe the Vulture but the Avenger would also make sense (both can have a BRRRRRRTTTT so either seems reasonable, I just don't know how fast the Iron Eagle was meant to be in game terms)?

In necromunda, without chopping arms off or magnetising (harder with the stupid connection for limbs these days) how do you all go about buying guns/weapons in a campaign? Is it generally accepted that proxy is ok in your groups as you only have 10 models on the field at a time or is there another go-to?

It's generally accepted you proxy the weapons yeah. Just declare at the start and remind your opponent throughout the game.

Thats groovy, I figured that'd be the accepted way to do things without spending a poo poo load of money or time. Presumably not taking the piss with a pistol juve representing your leader with plasmagun and power sword

Is...is that the classic X-COM helmet, by any chance? If so, very nice! :D (I mean, very nice either way - just bonus points if it's an X-COM reference)

As others have posted, just a thing of the time I'm afraid and I was just following the original scheme

Necromunda seems awesome but I'm wary of it because there are probably a few really broken options that I should be aware of if my friends and I were to start a campaign. I heard a lot about grenade launchers being overpowered for the points, is that still the case?

Necromunda is not balanced that well, but its a beer and pretzel game so youd generally play it with friends so coming to a rule of cool instead of power gaming agreement doesnt hurt

I mean, so long as the items listed as in the box are in good condition.... its lovely but the seller did say what was on offer. If you bought a special edition bike for example that had no wheels that were in the box new but what was on offer was in good condition how else would you list it?

I'm hoping the vamps are similarly priced to the other warcry stuff because i really want to chop them up for some inq28 or mordheim

Will they ever reprint old warbands like Mollog? Maybe they can remove the universals or something. I don't want to pay 2x MSRP on old warbands on ebay.

Do you mean the cards? Because you can still buy the mini's direct from GW

For the longest time I thought that in GoMo, once you started using the the thrusters, you had to keep thrusting until you fail. I think I had this misapprehension from the inaugural GoMo battle report in White Dwarf, probably from reading a jocular "once you start you can't stop" too literally.

Anyway it meant that my group's games were inevitably even more chaotic than usual.

Means it was even more perfect

Personally id buy them second hand on ebay, gw put them in pretty much every tzeentch box and no one needs that many so they go new for really cheap
