I played this game today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Dc3L6-e3fU&t=63s And its kinda like vib ribbon with a more colorful aesthetic. I really like the music in it but the timing windows for everything is way too tight and some of the later inputs appear too fast to even react to.

Its also kinda fascinating in that it was a wonderswan game designed to played askew so your hands had access to both dpads and the face buttons. Fun control scheme

I was planning on buying the miku season pass but the value makes no drat sense. the game was about 50 bucks for 220 songs and the dlc is 25 dollars for 12 songs. Zuh???

My obsession is rhythm games that let u use your own music. I look a lot but never find much. If you like Audiosurf (I love it) Riff Racer is basically a sequel that adds Ridge Racer/Trackmania-ish drifting, feels way better as a evolution of the core concept then Audiosurf 2. Biggest problem with it is that with difficulty solely decided by the song it's pretty easy to hit a general skill ceiling in terms of racing the tracks, there's nuance in drifting but I think it's way less fun when you're just trying to figure out how lightly you should feather a turn as opposed to dodging obstacles, collecting boost & trying to hit jumps just right to get a bonus.

Is there a reliable way to do those triple taps on Hard and higher? I kinda wish I could use my stick with this game because it's got an 8 button layout that would be perfect but you can't do slides with it.
