i spent three consecutive christmases in between Lima, Peru and Pampa Melchorita several (10ish) years ago it was mind-boggling the wealth disparity between the peruvians who lived in the resorts peppering the panamerican highway south of Lima where you would routinely see porsche suvs and land rovers carrying both a nanny and a housekeeper to their condo resorts pass a dude with a donkey pulling a cart full of vegetables also, the hand-painted Fujimori (KEIKO LA FUERZA!) stuff everywhere made me look up why in the world a japanese family would be a famous political dynasty in loving Peru of all places and i also just looked at facebook and holy poo poo Keiko used Rudy loving Guliani as an advisor during her 2011 presidential campaign Also, pisco sucks except in pisco sours
