Finally cutting Blue Apron out of my life, and it feels good. Made some Chongqing Chicken and garlic bok choy. Couldn't get a good plating shot, because I turned every surface of my kitchen into a mess.

In all fairness, I did wimp out and only eat 2-3 chilis per meal. But I made sure I ate all the sichuan peppercorns, the real stars of the show.

I attempted to make a stuffed tofu omelette thing that turned into about a 50/50 mix of omelette and scrambled eggs. Once I tried to flip the whole things like the video below, I completely blew any chance I had of a good picture. Tasted great though! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4jxabZObJI

Leftover hot chicken bits, the finest sprouts shipped from Brussels, and Korean sweet soy-glazed potatoes, I'm definitely making some miso peas for lunch tomorrow. Thanks for that idea!

I'm not too sure, honestly. I think it's because I didn't have any of the doubanjiang I normally use, so I figured Guilin chili sauce was close enough. I was hoping adding a some extra chili oil would make it more red. It still tasted pretty great though.

A lot of good food posted recently. I could crush that rueben or pork chop right now. Over the weekend, I did lots of cooking and drinking. Still slightly hungover and full. Panzanella Honey siracha chicken wings, cumin potatoes with extra onions, and sichuan-ish green beans Shakshuka I also cooked a ribeye and beef chow fun, but they did not photograph well, even by my standards.

For content, I made a salmon teriyaki bowl tonight. I need to buy some smaller bowls...

Panang curry with a scoop of peanut butter mixed in for lunch today. I think the oil from stir frying veggies separately messed with the consistency of the curry a bit. But it was still mostly creamy and delicious.

New recipe for broiled salmon for lunch today. Used a soy sauce/lime/honey marinade that was really good. With cumin potatoes and some spinach banchan. Panang curry with tofu for dinner. I can't believe it took me years to add peanut butter to this recipe. Bonus ground pork with green beans I made earlier this week. I also made some sweet and sour chicken that did not photograph well at all.
