Finally cutting Blue Apron out of my life, and it feels good. Made some Chongqing Chicken and garlic bok choy. Couldn't get a good plating shot, because I turned every surface of my kitchen into a mess.

In all fairness, I did wimp out and only eat 2-3 chilis per meal. But I made sure I ate all the sichuan peppercorns, the real stars of the show.

I attempted to make a stuffed tofu omelette thing that turned into about a 50/50 mix of omelette and scrambled eggs. Once I tried to flip the whole things like the video below, I completely blew any chance I had of a good picture. Tasted great though!

I'm not too sure, honestly. I think it's because I didn't have any of the doubanjiang I normally use, so I figured Guilin chili sauce was close enough. I was hoping adding a some extra chili oil would make it more red. It still tasted pretty great though.

Over the weekend, I did lots of cooking and drinking. Still slightly hungover and full.

Panzanella

Honey siracha chicken wings, cumin potatoes with extra onions, and sichuan-ish green beans

Shakshuka
