I'm pretty sure someone could just satire link popular websites with humorous text about their name, logo/image, users, and more for the next half a decade for ALOTD and it'd be like old alotd in terms of really annoying someone out there while also being entertaining.

Awful Reddit of the Day could draw similar ire. If you pick the right community they'll be mad it's "reddit of the day" instead of subreddit of the day. Although that's kind of weekend web territory.
