 Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid is the latest Kyoani show. It's based off of a cute gag manga where an office lady gets drunk and invites a dragon back to her home. This dragon promptly becomes her maid and falls in love with her, and comedy ensues. And they adopt another dragon, and it's super, super charming. This show is real good, and in a shocking twist, kyoani is very good at making shows that are very pretty while still being super faithful to the source. And not only that, but the added scenes fit in perfectly.

I think it was from what I can recall, with maybe a few differences. Not a great scene in either medium though. The chapters the latest episode adapted were when the manga really started hitting for me though, and if anything I think the anime improved on these chapters a little. Kyoani is really nailing the emotional moments between the character, which were probably my favourite parts of the original anyway. It's super cute.

In the manga, we find out that Tohru had a magical sword stuck in her when Kobayashi first met her. Kobayashi shouldn't have been able to pull the sword out of her, or even touch it without going insane, but at the time she was too drunk to know or care about that and removed it without any problem.

Don't listen to his lies! This is the one true cannon thread, as evidenced by the fact that it has the best title and I don't feel like following three different threads. Also I wouldn't doubt KyoAni's ability to make good SoL anime.
