Thanks for being a generally cool mod and person, and for actually being an active part of the community that you moderated. A lot of mods seem to disappear up their own rear end as soon as the conch is passed to them.

I've lurked the GIP current events thread for a good year and a half now after being surprised by how good the quality of posting generally was in there. It attracts a lot of drama too, as is the nature of the beast, but I firmly believe that thread in it's various iterations has been one of the best places in the forum to follow politics and the shitshow that was the 2016 election. You've put a lot of work into making it a good place to read and I hope it continues to be good in the coming lovely years.
