the problem with conglomerates buying up craft beer isn't that the quality suffers (goose island still makes great stuff and always will), it's that they can sell it at a lower price and undercut the competition that isn't owned by the likes of AB InBev

Not so, once the competition has been driven down they can cut costs and drive quality down as far as will sell.
