I never gave a poo poo about HS football because our team would always lose like 70-7. When you saw one game, you lost 'em all

And woof does it gently caress you up

Back around when I was a kid, my parents used to be really close with a handiman named Steve. He got bit by a brown recluse while he was helping another family in the neighbourhood clear out some old wood and the scar on his leg from the bite was loving disgusting. It's probably been ~15 years since I saw him last and I still remember how discoloured looking his right calf was.

so yeah brown recluses aren't anything to gently caress with

Some day, I suppose.

Deciding between a Plexi and a JCM 800.. these prices though, jesus christ. Still a lot of fun tho

Also good on the Astros for going to the WS. I don't follow baseball much but my dad is a lifelong Dodgers fan and he's pretty excited for it.

Dominos is fine. Your local pizza place is probably a lot better than it, unless you live out in the boonies or some poo poo, but as far as the big name chain pizza places go it's acceptable. Papa John's is somehow too sugary & bland for its own good, Little Caesers tastes like warm cardboard & sauce, and Pizza Hut is just a pile o' grease & soggy dough.

There's my pizza chain hot takes, thanks for taking my call

It used to be when a really bad storm whipped through I'd think of all the poo poo I'd have to rake up the next day but now its like oooh hey free firewood all over the lawn tomorrow!

This is pretty much exactly what a friend of mine did because the house him and his GF were renting had an awful heating bill. So they mostly chopped wood, collected old paper clippings, poo poo like that and threw it in the fireplace. Dry out whatever's wet outside and it's a good way to get some heat going.

This article is the most pro-read article I have read in probably something like 5 years. It's all about how hosed the millenials are, especially the ones who now are in their late 20s/early 30s. It focuses on how intertwined all the economic problems are and at the end has some ideas to fix it (banish the GOP and NIMBY people to the hell dimension basically)

Thank you for this article, very worthwhile reading here.
