Something like the elgato HD will take rca/retro inputs and stream them out via hdmi, but according to their FAQ they don't support the surface. https://www.elgato.com/en/gaming/gamecapture-hd https://help.elgato.com/customer/portal/articles/1507672-elgato-game-capture-hd-and-surface-tablets-from-microsoft also, magnetoscope is such a cooler word than video cassette player / VHS.
