Keep polishing that ring... until it falls off the dead hand of Drew Brees and you realize you don't even have a Quarterback anymore. Saints are fuckin' just... the most Norman Bates of franchises.

Epi Lepi posted:The Bucs need a good FS and a real #2 WR so hopefully we draft those and not an RB in the first few rounds. I don't care if the Muscle Hamster is back or not I will be almost as mad if we go RB as I was about Second Round Kicker. 3rd/4th rounder for RB imo. Don't hang your hopes in the backfield on Jaquizz Rodgers. As much as I adore that man, he's barely even a #2.

Silly Burrito posted:So is there anyone you're hoping your team drafts this year? Hoping for linebacker or cornerback, but watch Sean pick Deshaun Watson or something else completely out of left field. Because we're likely to lose Babs sooner than later and Quinn likes to rotate... we need to draft a Defensive Tackle. We're weak at guard and could use a high pick on one, and picking at 31, we're likely to be able to get a high quality one, as this position doesn't tend to go high, so quality at the position will still be available.

wandler20 posted:Sadly he was by far the best RB we had last year. Martin and Sims were bad. Unless Dalvin Cook (homer pick) falls to TB I agree 3/4 rounder should be fine. WR is by far the biggest need. Get Evans help, Jesus, I'm so down with the Mikeness I can't even loving contain it. weird Asian candy posted:Forgot about Guard. big money big clit posted:Cooks was openly complaining last year about not getting enough touches and New Orleans showed with Stills that they're more than willing to trade a talented wide receiver for off the field reasons, so I'd say it's probably true. As long as they get first round value for him I don't mind it. Finding wide receivers for Brees has been one thing the Saints haven't struggled with. Is that realistic, getting a first for Cooks in trade? How many years are left on his rookie deal/what's his production been like? I know he's flashed pretty brightly, watching the ATL/NOLA games over the years, but those games are always weirdly high in scoring and production.

Silly Burrito posted:I'm glad Michael Thomas and Willie Snead worked out, but I still think they need to keep Cooks unless they get a hell of a deal. That's why I'm asking about the fire re:smoke. Rumors are the wide receivers are feuding with Cooks right now and kinda want him gone. Maybe that's all smoke to lower his trade value?
