Smith (well, Michael Turner) took the Falcons to the playoffs his first season, one year after Vick went to prison and Bobby Petrino Bobby Petrino'd. That's not nothing. He was easily mockable because he subscribed to the usual boring, ploddy, runny, punty NFL game management done by so many others. I mean, his name was "Mike Smith" even. But he did the franchise good.
