They are just dividers from boardgamegeek. Check under Files. I also have a laminator.

These are the ones i used:

Those dividers are great, but Dunwich mixes in encounter blocks from the core set (Ancient Evils, the rats etc.) so the scenario titles might get confusing.

Honestly that's what I've found to be best for all the LCGs. Binders get too crowded/unwieldy IMO, having cards in the boxes with appropriate dividers is good enough for me.

And I do like the dividers they make, but assuming the game does well you'll eventually outgrow them. They're great for board games though (I have one for mage knight that I really like).

I've had trouble working out how damage assignment works despite reading and re-reading the rules, can the thread chime in?

If I have an ally who has 1 Health and 1 Sanity, and I take a hit of 1 damage and 1 horror, can I assign both of those to the ally or only one before the ally is defeated?

Damage is simultaneous, the ally can eat both.

I'll piggyback on this to add: am I correct that you can divide up incoming damage between you and your allies as you see fit? If I've got, say, 3 horror coming in to Agnes can I give her just one to trigger her ability and put the other two on an ally or asset?

Leo de Luca (just repeatedly punch for 1), Shrivelling, repeated refreshes of Duke, any of the guns, Backstab, Sneak Attack, do extra damage with cards like Vicious Blow, Dynamite. There's a fair number of ways - it's just if you don't have any of them in play it's pretty painful - and even when you do, it's fairly slow.

Edit: Probably the best way given the high health is something like Close Call or Disc of Itzamana (or whatever it's called) but that's pretty situational - and they're both xp cards which you don't have in the first scenario of a campaign.

Quick rules question:

I am attempting to pass a check of difficulty 2, with a skill of 2. I draw a -3 token; the final result can't go to -1 so it ends up at 0.

Can I play Lucky! to boost the result from 0 to 2, or does it actually count as a result of 1 if I was to play it?

It would count as 2 - 3 + 2 = 1 (vs 2, i.e. a fail). Compare with Look What I Found, which works after a failed test.

Edit: In case you are interested in the rules specifics, all modifiers are applied in ST5, and clamping the values are done in ST6. https://arkhamdb.com/rules#Skill_Test_Timing

Ah, I confused those two cards in my head - so Look What I Found would work in the situation I described above.

Yes, that's correct. In the end the test becomes 0 vs 2, which makes LWIF a valid play.

This is the correct answer and it is the shortest explanation. For the full explanation, see the section on Modifiers in the rules reference.

Essentially, values are continually updated with all modifiers added and subtracted together until the check is completed, at which point a negative skill value becomes 0.

On a separate note, I spent entirely too much time organizing my cards this weekend, but I now have all my player cards (for four players) sleeved or in a binder for easy reference, all the encounter decks sleeved and separated so that any scenario can be taken out and played on its own without having to move cards between scenarios, and everything fits into one box:

Not pictured are my Dunwich Legacy and Carnevale of Horrors cards, since until I play any of those scenarios I'm pretending they don't exist for the purposes of my silly temporary storage solution. :colbert:

It was still satisfying even if it will be short-lived.

"Ashcan " Pete is the chillest of investigators. Like, literally, you cannot have a bad draw with him and his doggie.

Except Paranoia, but let's be honest - the second you'd see it in your deck, you'd restart the whole drat campaign.

As an aside, I wholeheartedly recommend splashing 2xRitual Candles, 2xShrivelling, 1xWard of Protection into him. Make use of that 4 Willpower (further buffed by obligatory upgraded Sylvestre) and leave hands to further buff your doggie (and your own shenanigans)!

I don't even find Paranoia that bad on Pete. My wife's playing him in our 2p game and ended up with that weakness, and most of his cards are so cheap that he just doesn't care that much. Blitzed through the first two Dunwich Legacy scenarios without much trouble despite drawing it both games. I agree with Shrivelling for sure, and quite liked having Liquid Courage as well due to his high willpower/low sanity (though obviously not essential thanks to Sylvestre).
