[ASK] me about multiple personality disorders

The Dark Enlightenment, or NRx: the hydra that fused techno-libertarianism, corporate monarchy, and "human biodiversity" which is just a clever way of saying "race realist" which is just dog-whistle for white-supremacy and cherry-picked stats.

This group of people were propelled to internet stardom through a combination of an insufferable sperglord, Mencius Moldbug, posting on Eliezer Yudkowsky's LessWrong blog, and his followers making rational commentary impossible. Yudkowsky rejected Moldbug's philosophy, so Moldbug and his NRx follwers created MoreRight as a response. He believes media and education are a vast new cultural-communistic church:
"And the left is the party of the educational organs, at whose head is the press and universities. This is our 20th-century version of the established church. Here at UR, we sometimes call it the Cathedral - although it is essential to note that, unlike an ordinary organization, it has no central administrator. No, this will not make it easier to deal with."

He also believes that corporations should rule like countries or city-states like something out of Robocop or Judge Dredd:
"To a neocameralist, a state is a business which owns a country. A state should be managed, like any other large business, by dividing logical ownership into negotiable shares, each of which yields a precise fraction of the state’s profit. (A well-run state is very profitable.) Each share has one vote, and the shareholders elect a board, which hires and fires managers.
This business’s customers are its residents. A profitably-managed neocameralist state will, like any business, serve its customers efficiently and effectively. Misgovernment equals mismanagement."

Other notables include Nick Land:
"Union victory determined that the emancipatory sense of liberty would prevail, not only in America, but throughout the world, and the eventual reign of the Cathedral was assured. Nevertheless, the crushing of American’s second war of secession made a mockery of the first. If the institution of slavery de-legitimated a war of independence, what survived of 1776? The moral coherence of the Union cause required that the founders were reconceived as politically illegitimate white patriarchal slave-owners, and American history combusted in progressive education and the culture wars."

and Michael Anissimov:
"1. People are not equal. They never will be. We reject equality in all its forms.
2. Right is right and left is wrong.
3. Hierarchy is basically a good idea.
4. Traditional sex roles are basically a good idea.
5. Libertarianism is retarded.
6. Democracy is irredeemably flawed and we need to do away with it."

These people and their early 2000's whinging on blogs eventually coalesced the disparate movements in the right wing and tied them together in a neat little bow. Now we call it the Alt-Right/New-Right, but the underpinnings of the DE legitimately had a hand in creating the environment we have today amongst the right-wing.
