GiP is kinda like an anti-"Crab in a bucket" scenario. A new crab is dropped in the bucket, and all the crabs here join together to push the new guy to freedom. Meanwhile he's just clawing and kicking and screaming "Let me fall to the bottom fuckers!!!". Every once in a while we manage to push one over the edge, despite their opposite intentions.
