If I'm not going to be crafting and upgrading the circlets and earrings from Gerudo town there's no reason to keep any of the gems (outside of random side quests) right?

sector_corrector posted:i hadn't gotten to the goron one when i wrote that, but it was ok. mostly because you can use magnesis objects to easily knock down the drones. i liked the short gerudo stealth segment because there's a few ways to approach it. I was confused about what people were talking about with a goron stealth section because for that area, like you said it was all magnesis, stasis, and cannon shots while leading around a huge, completely unstealthy goron.

Stumbled into the final boss room while exploring Hyrule Castle and that was a satisfying fight. Holy gently caress is this game huge though, I thought I had done a decent chunk of the game but completion is at 20.09%

I had one bug that I was able to repeat a couple of times that would cause the system to hang for several seconds. When fighting a group of moblins in some ruins during a rain storm, if their corpse would rag doll onto a slick surface, everything would lockup.

Fungah! posted:yeah this, ive had like one crash aand a handful of hitches in 80+ hours of gametime, thats super freakin stable I've never had an outright crash luckily. My only gripe about the game is the Divine Beasts; they felt short compared to dungeons/temples in previous games, like glorified shrines that became more monotonous than challenging once you figured out the positioning gimmick of the beast. Mipha is bad, her delivery is just flat out reading, with no emotion. Daruk is great, Sidon is ok, but man does Yunobo (the young Goron) suck. "Oh Geez oh man, MONSTERSSSSS AHHH"

absolutely anything posted:i finally pulled the trigger and beat this. i spent way more time than i thought it was gonna take because i wasnt expecting hyrule castle to be so huge. godly game yeah the castle is just the best dungeon in the game. last fight is satisfying and taught me that a necessary component of the fight is applicable to guardians out in the wild and one shots the turret ones, haven't tried on the walkers.

What do you get in return for playing on hard mode, just a sense of accomplishment or is there some actual better/different items added? Edit: When Nintendo says that completing the Trial of The Sword will unlock the full power of the Master Sword, I know they mean it will always be at the full 60 damage and glowing, but will it also never deplete? jisforjosh fucked around with this message at 18:21 on Jun 30, 2017 |
