Janeway is an amazing captain not for her character but for how lovely the writing on Voyager was that Kate Mulgrew intentionally played her as more than a bit nutty to offset the lovely writing with good acting. Sisko > TV Picard > Janeway > Kirk > Action Picard > I'm Retarded?
