This is all what made the show good. We aren't arguing about what the show did (sort of) but what the right choice for the characters was.

Great advice. Get married to the unemployed guy twice your age because he knocked you up instead of becoming a functional adult.

If finding happiness isnt apart of it i dont want to be a functional adult. it all just seems like "But what will the NEIGHBORS think!? Her With LUCKY?!" just so shallow and just as childish. Leave them alone.

SettingSun posted:Tom Petty can do no wrong and will be missed. They would regularly have a celebrity voice a new character (Reverend Stroop, Roger Stack, ...Thatheron), but they'd swap in one of their regular VAs after the character's introduction. They somehow got Tom Petty to stay. I can't blame them for trying to squeeze in as many Lucky episodes as they could.

And wasn't it even a decent amount of time between his first and second appearance? His first one is when Khan is trying to be "white trash" because I guess it would be better for Connie's chances at getting in to a good school/get a scholarship, right? Then he meets Lucky and the gang and they go "stickin'", which is some sort of 2x4-based street fighting tournement.

Look, we should be grateful Luanne and Lucky's marriage is probably better than her parents'. At least Lucky isn't a full-on career criminal that Luanne is gonna stab with a fork in an act of drunken domestic violence. It's not a high bar, but by God they cleared it

I heard Life in a Northern Town on the radio yesterday and all I could think about was Luanne and Buckley's Angel jumping on the trampoline.

I have a message from Jesus, something about how you suck at beauty school, except worded nicer. Here it is: "Luanne, you really suck at beauty school. Drop out. Love, Jesus." Hm. He underlined "really." Guess it wasn't nicer.
