I love King of the Hill, and this thread is cool and good and wonderful. But for anyone who hasn't seen the 'latest (2011?) Beavis and Butthead episodes, they should be free to watch on mtv.com /.ca But the important things are right here: https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=Oguyn0fF-Cs https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=jtjqh9XPbv0 https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=PxjYgw3nzc0 Last one is terrible quality, but it's all I could find on mobile. Whatever, you can still hear it. I would love a season of King of the Hill right out of nowhere, like B&B.

I have zero issues with Peggy. She's a perfect match for Hank, and it all plays extremely well for the show. Also, much like many other characters, she has her hilarious moments. This is why this show is great; everyone has their moment and comedic niche. If we're comparing cartoon wives, Peggy is far and away a better character than Lois Griffin. Comparing KotH to Family Guy is not even remotely fair to Family Guy, but I don't care.

All of you Peggy haters have to agree that Kathy Najimy kills it as her. It's fitting that, if Peggy had been a nun, she'd probably be a lot like Najimy's character in Sister Act.

What's this dark episode? Is it where Buckley dies? It's weird; KOTH is one of my favourite shows ever, but I know I haven't seen every episode, probably not even close. There are tons I'm missing, and many references even in this thread that I don't get, but that may be from me not having really watched it since shortly after it aired, or when I was tunnelling through to the U.S. Netflix when it was streaming there. I'm kind of happy that I have probably 30+ episodes to watch for the first time. Bunch of people on youtube are putting up full seasons, which is nice to have on during work.

He desires to be successful and wealthy, he's incredibly arrogant and while he does care about his family, he does care more about his daughter being successful than coming out right (hence why he called her Khan Jr). Well, at least 'Connie' is a fairly normal name. I get that it's effectively Khan Jr, though.

I agree with this here, and it's what mainly got me into KOTH back in the day, even though I might've been too young to really know why I loved it so much (well, I was 14 in '97, but I didn't think about stuff like this). King of the Hill is a cartoon filled with real people.
