King of the Hill was amazing and as someone that has never been to Texas, I take it to be a documentary of average Texan life.

Since living in Texas, Boomhauer is now very easy to understand, and I have met people who sound exactly like him. I, too, can speak like Boomhauer, and other Texans can understand me when I do. It's an older dialect, but it is comprehensible.
