I like mine because it's nicer when I'm loafing around, don't need a desk or table, and is in a better spot than the trackpad.

i use a trackball at work and it helps a lot with repetitive strain injuries trackpads are the worst cos you have to hold your wrist in an unnatural way and they all feel like trash
