He tested positive for something after he beat Khan in like 2012 and that's why they never had a rematch but lately its pretty much just Peterson being a victim of pbc having a lot fewer dates in 2016 than in 2015. Hes not really the kind of guy you can build into an attraction at this point so no need to bend over backwards to get him a fight. P4P for me is primarily an eye test since-for me-pound for pound basically means if everyone could magically be the same size who would be the best fighters? Record is important of course but it still mainly comes down to skill vs skill. Lomachenko is one of the most decorated amateurs of all time and has shown exponential growth since losing to Salido (and he easily could've won anyways) so that's why he's my number 1 p4p and it honestly isn't all that close. EDIT: MMM Whatchya Say posted:Lomachenko vs Crawford would be great, but they're a bit too far in weight right now Unfortunately I doubt they would ever meet. Crawford will be officially at welter after Diaz/Orozco and Loma will be at 135 by the end of the year. With the Leimieux knockout on Saturday and Golovkin looking committed towards fighting BJ Saunders in Kazakhstan in June if he wins the ship has pretty much sailed on Canelo-Golovkin being relevant when it happens if at all.

I just wish me and MMM Watcha Say could agree on something for a change Also it seems like Chocolatito just might not be built for anything above flyweight strange as that sounds. He really hasn't had the same explosiveness since moving up when he couldn't put away Arroyo. He was really fading against Cuadras and was bullied by Rungvisai. Might favor him in a rematch but I would definitely be worried if he got in with Inoue who would absolutely dwarf him. I favored Inoue for a while but would worry that the Monster would really hurt Gonzalez.

Evang posted:Was poking around for the first time in ages and happy to find this thread for sweet science fans. Lomachenko fights Jason Sosa this Saturday; doesn't sound like much on paper but Sosa is a decent test while VL works his way up to 135. Mikey Garcia already said he's willing to delay a move to 140 to wait for VL to come up, which would be a real cracker. I have no doubt they both genuinely really want the fight but between the politics of Mikey having to deal with Top Rank soon after a bad split and Lomachenko hanging around at 130 for 2-3 more fights after Sosa I'm not sure their paths will cross. But we can get Loma vs the Berchelt-Miura winner and/or Jezreel Corrales as well as Garcia-Linares and/or Robert Easter Jr. instead that's hell of a consolation prize.
